CrossWalk Community Outreach

Raise the Roof Building Campaign
For more than 16 years, CrossWalk Community Outreach, a Naples-based 501c3 nonprofit, has provided vital community services to Naples and the surrounding areas. In 2024, the space we were using was no longer available, which meant we could no longer offer free meals, blood pressure checks, Medicare assistance, flu clinics, our community meal site, or our emergency warming space. With the support of our board, donors, and local residents, we launched the Raise the Roof campaign, hosting and attending numerous events to spread the word about our outreach and raise funds for a place to call our own. We’re dedicated to finding a permanent home where the community can once again come together to learn, connect, and grow. We’re excited to announce that we’ve leased a building! Our goal is to purchase it within the next 2–3 years. Leasing brings new operating expenses we haven’t faced before, so our campaign remains as active as ever. We’re building a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and laundry services, a clothing store, and many other exciting additions. We need your help more help than ever—volunteers, in-kind gift donations, and of course, monetary contributions to sustain our outreach. Our new location will allow us to bring back lost services, including:
Emergency meals during outages and pandemics
Warming/cooling center
Return of free community meals
Addiction recovery outreach in partnership with LRRC
Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts meeting space
Community garden and farm-to-table programs
Healthy food access and a food pantry for Naples residents
Free notary services
Onsite community health worker for resource referrals
Blood pressure screenings and flu clinics with local nurses
Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging café and classes for seniors
Medicare support advisor onsite
Event space for family and fundraising gatherings
Veterans’ homelessness advocacy with the Preble Street Initiative
